Set in Nazi-occupied France, the story unfolds through a series of interconnected chapters, each building towards a climactic and explosive finale.

The plot centers around two parallel missions to assassinate high-ranking Nazi officials, one led by the vengeful Jewish cinema owner Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) and the other by a rogue group of American soldiers known as the Basterds, led by the charismatic and ruthless Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt).

Christoph Waltz’s portrayal of Colonel Hans Landa, the cunning and menacing “Jew Hunter,” is a highlight of the film. Waltz delivers a performance that is both chilling and charming, earning him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. His scenes are masterclasses in tension and suspense, particularly the unforgettable opening sequence.
